Claude is a strong partner for marketing work that takes judgment: briefs, copy, plans. What it doesn't have on its own is your numbers, so it can't tell you which channel paid off last week. OneLence fills that gap.
OneLence connects to Claude through its MCP server at https://mcp.onelence.com. Once it's connected, Claude answers growth questions with your own OneLence data: what to focus on today, which channels and partners to scale, hold or stop, how AI search engines see your site, and which search pages to improve first.
Connect OneLence to Claude
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it OneLence, paste
https://mcp.onelence.com, choose Continue, then Add. - Sign in to OneLence, pick the workspace Claude may use and approve.
Custom connectors are available on every Claude plan: Free, with one custom connector, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds OneLence once under Organization settings → Connectors and each member then connects. You need a OneLence account with at least one website added. If you don't have one yet, start the 7-day free trial.
Claude connectors and MCP
A custom connector in Claude is a remote MCP server: Model Context Protocol is the open standard Claude uses to reach outside tools and data. OneLence runs its server at https://mcp.onelence.com, so adding it as a custom connector is all the setup Claude needs. The same server works in Claude Code, ChatGPT and other MCP clients. See how the OneLence MCP server works. For other MCP servers marketers add to Claude, such as HubSpot, Google Analytics and Meta Ads, see MCP servers for marketing.
What you can ask
| Ask Claude | What you get back |
|---|---|
| "What should I focus on today?" | Today's priorities and which channels and partners to scale, hold or stop, as an interactive briefing |
| "Why does OneLence say to hold Google Ads?" | The reasons, the evidence, what is still missing and when to look again |
| "How did last week compare with the week before?" | Visitors, conversions, conversion rate and revenue, each with its change |
| "Which affiliates actually convert?" | Partners, coupons, clicks and conversions side by side |
| "Where did last week's Shopify orders come from?" | Orders and revenue by source, campaign, affiliate and coupon code, once the OneLence Connect app is on your store |
| "How do AI search engines see our site?" | The assistants that read your pages, the visitors they send and the fixes to make (Premium) |
| "Which search pages should we improve first?" | Ranked Search Console opportunities, each with a next step (Premium) |
| "We doubled the TikTok budget yesterday. Log it." | A summary to confirm; once you agree, OneLence records the change and watches what follows |
Answers as interactive cards
Claude shows four OneLence answers as interactive cards rather than plain text: the daily briefing, the list of what to scale, hold or stop, the recommendation for a single source, and the performance overview. A card only lays out what OneLence returned and makes no network requests of its own.
Built to be safe
- Nothing changes without you. Recording a change or updating your business context shows a summary first and is saved only after you confirm.
- No access to ad accounts or money. OneLence never edits campaigns or budgets on ad platforms and never charges you from chat. The most it does is return a link to OneLence's own checkout page.
- One workspace, the permissions you chose. Claude sees only the workspace you picked when connecting, and secret API keys are never returned.
- Disconnect at any time. Remove Claude under Settings → Developer in OneLence and its access ends immediately.
Plans and roles
The connector works on every OneLence plan with an active subscription or trial. AI visibility, bot traffic and SEO opportunities need the Premium or Scale plan, and registering sites or changing conversion events needs an Owner or Admin role. See pricing.
Working in Claude Code?
The same server works in Claude Code, where OneLence can also add tracking to your app and check that events arrive. See OneLence for coding agents.
Frequently asked questions
How can I use Claude for marketing?
Claude is good at marketing work that takes judgment, such as briefs, copy and plans. To say where your budget and effort should go, it needs your numbers. With OneLence connected, Claude gives you today's priorities, says which channels and affiliate partners to scale, hold or stop and why, compares this week with last, ranks the search pages worth improving and shows which AI assistants read your site.
How do I add OneLence to Claude?
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, choose + Add, then Add custom connector, and paste https://mcp.onelence.com. Sign in to OneLence, pick a workspace and approve. Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, with one custom connector on the Free plan, and once added it works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile.
Is the OneLence connector an MCP server?
Yes. Custom connectors in Claude are remote MCP servers, and OneLence's is at https://mcp.onelence.com. The same server works in Claude Code, ChatGPT and other MCP clients.
Can Claude change my ad campaigns or budgets through OneLence?
No. OneLence never touches your ad accounts and never charges or moves money. It can record a change you made yourself, such as a budget increase, and it shows you a summary and waits for your confirmation before saving anything.
What can Claude see in my OneLence account?
Only the workspace you pick when you connect, with the permissions you approve. OneLence receives Claude's requests, not your conversation, and you can disconnect at any time in OneLence under Settings, then Developer.
Which OneLence plan do I need?
Any plan with an active subscription, or the 7-day free trial. AI visibility, bot traffic and SEO opportunities need the Premium or Scale plan.
