OneLence × Google Search Console

Google Search Console opportunities in Claude and ChatGPT

Ask Claude or ChatGPT which pages to improve first in Google, and get ranked work with the reason, the next step and what each page converts.

OneLence brings Google Search Console into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any other MCP client. Connect Search Console to OneLence once, add the OneLence MCP server to your AI app, and ask which pages to improve first. The answer is ranked work built from your own Search Console data: what to change, why, which searches it is for, and how many visitors and conversions that page already brings.

Set it up

  1. In OneLence, open Integrations, choose Connect Search Console, sign in with Google and pick the property for your site.
  2. Add the OneLence MCP server to your AI app. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, choose + Add, then Add custom connector, and paste https://mcp.onelence.com. For ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code, follow the ChatGPT or coding agents guide.
  3. Ask: "Which pages should we improve first in Google?"

SEO opportunities are in beta on the Premium and Scale plans. If you don't have an account yet, start the 7-day free trial.

What you can ask

Ask your assistantWhat you get back
"Which pages should we improve first in Google?"Ranked opportunities, each with the reason, a next step, the searches to focus on, the effort and how sure OneLence is
"How did we do in Google search over the last 28 days?"Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position, and the date the data runs through
"Which pages lost visibility?"Pages whose Google impressions fell against the previous period, with what to refresh
"Are two of our pages competing for the same searches?"The overlapping pages and the searches they split, with the advice to pick one canonical URL
"Which searches don't have a page of their own?"Searches that already get impressions without a dedicated page, and keyword ideas with search volume estimated by Google Keyword Planner
"Which converting pages could rank higher?"Pages that already bring conversions, with the searches where they sit below the top positions

How OneLence sorts the work

Every opportunity lands in one of five lanes, and you can ask for one lane at a time.

LaneWhat it findsTypical next step
Improve ranking pagesSearches where a page sits in positions 4 to 15, a click-through rate below what that position usually gets, converting pages with room to rank higher, and top-3 pages that could cover related searchesImprove the title, headings and copy for the focus searches, or rewrite the title and meta description
Recover lost visibilityPages whose Google impressions fell against the previous periodRefresh the dated sections and win back the searches the page ranked for
Fix coverage leaksTwo pages splitting the same searches, pages with visits but no Google impressions, and, with Bing connected, pages Bing doesn't show yetChoose one canonical URL, or check robots rules, canonicals and indexing
Create new coverageSearches with impressions that have no dedicated page, and keyword ideas with search volume estimated by Google Keyword PlannerCreate a page for them or expand a relevant one, after checking what already covers an idea
Needs more evidenceToo little search activity in the date range to act onWait for more search data or visits before acting

Each opportunity also rates its search potential, the value the page already shows on your site, OneLence's confidence and the urgency, and names anything that limits it: search data that is out of date, search volume that is only estimated, a sample that is too thin, or a property connected for a different domain.

Why not a plain Search Console connector?

Search Console connectors and open-source MCP servers hand your query and page tables to the assistant, which then has to work out what matters. They suit exports and custom reports. Open-source servers usually run on your computer and need your own Google Cloud project and credentials.

OneLence works differently:

  • The ranking happens before the assistant sees the data. The assistant gets prioritized work with a reason and a next step, not thousands of rows.
  • It knows what happens after the click. With the OneLence tag on your site, each page opportunity shows the visitors and conversions that page brings, which Search Console can't see. "What should we fix first" then leans on the pages that make you money, not only on impressions.
  • There is nothing to install. You sign in with Google once in OneLence, and the MCP server is hosted at https://mcp.onelence.com.

Bing Webmaster Tools

Opportunities are ranked from Google data. Connect Bing Webmaster Tools in OneLence as well, and the ranking flags pages Bing doesn't show yet, while the SEO app in OneLence shows Bing search data next to Google's.

Read-only and in your control

  • Read-only access to Search Console. OneLence asks Google only for read-only Search Console access, so sitemaps, indexing and settings stay in your hands.
  • The assistant reads, you decide. The SEO tool only reads. When you tell the assistant what you changed ("we rewrote the title of our pricing page"), OneLence shows a summary, records the change only after you confirm, and watches what follows.
  • Disconnect at any time. Remove Search Console under Integrations in OneLence, and remove an AI app under Settings → Developer.

In the OneLence app and the API

The same opportunities are on the SEO page in OneLence, next to Google's trend, striking-distance and long-tail lists and what's changing. From there you can turn an opportunity into tracked work with the result to watch.

Scripts can read them at GET https://api.onelence.com/v1/sites/{site}/seo-opportunities with a personal access token from Settings → Developer. The MCP tool, onelence_list_seo_opportunities, is listed with the others on the MCP server page.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Google Search Console MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect Search Console to OneLence, then add the OneLence MCP server at https://mcp.onelence.com to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client. Its onelence_list_seo_opportunities tool returns your clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position, and the pages and searches OneLence ranks as worth working on first.

Do I need a Google Cloud project, an API key or a service account?

No. You sign in with Google inside OneLence and pick the property. The MCP server is hosted by OneLence, so there is nothing to install and no credentials file to keep on your computer.

Can OneLence change anything in my Search Console account?

No. OneLence asks Google only for read-only access to Search Console, so your sitemaps, indexing requests and settings stay exactly as you manage them.

What can I ask about Search Console in chat?

Ask for your clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position over a date range, and for the pages and searches OneLence ranks as worth working on first, each with its focus searches. With the OneLence tag on your site, each page also shows the visitors and conversions it brings, so you can ask which pages to fix first for search.

Does it work with Bing Webmaster Tools?

Opportunities are ranked from Google data. If you also connect Bing Webmaster Tools in OneLence, the ranking flags pages Bing doesn't show yet, and the SEO app in OneLence shows Bing search data next to Google's.

How fresh is the data?

OneLence pulls the last 28 days when you connect and then refreshes about once a day. Search Console itself reports with a delay of a few days, and OneLence returns the date its data runs through.

Which OneLence plan do I need?

SEO opportunities are in beta on the Premium and Scale plans, and you can try them in the 7-day free trial. The MCP server itself works on every plan.
