The Pro tab is where users upgrade and manage their license key.
How to Upgrade
- Open the Pro tab.
- Click Upgrade Now.
- You will be sent to Stripe checkout.
- After checkout, return to the plugin.
- The license key can then be stored in the License key field and validated from this tab.
License Storage
The license key is stored in the WordPress settings for that website.
That means:
- if another admin logs into the same WordPress site, the saved license key remains there
- the Pro features stay connected to that site once the license is stored and valid
To activate Pro on a different website, that website needs its own valid license setup.
License Scope
One license is for one website / one domain.
If you move to a different site or domain, you should treat that as a separate website license case unless your license policy says otherwise.
Final Notes
OneLence Consent works best when the plugin is the main place where consent-relevant services are configured.
The cleaner the setup inside the plugin, the easier it is to keep your banner, service loading, and cookie policy aligned.
The biggest current limitations to keep in mind are:
- it is not legal advice
- it is not a full enterprise CMP
- it does not automatically control every custom script already added elsewhere
- some advanced behaviors depend on premium features or developer help
