Consent, Identity, and Data Continuity

Explore how OneLence maintains journey continuity through consent-aware identity mechanisms while supporting privacy-conscious tracking practices.

Tracking architecture must balance insight quality with responsible data handling.

OneLence uses a consent-aware signal model in which:

  • attribution parameters can be observed at runtime before consent
  • persistent storage of identifiers and attribution context occurs only after consent is granted
  • pseudonymous visitor identifiers are used to maintain journey continuity without relying on long-term personal identity

When a user becomes known (for example, after authentication or account creation), identity linking mechanisms allow historical anonymous activity to be associated with a confirmed user profile.

This layered identity model enables teams to:

  • analyse anonymous acquisition behaviour
  • attribute confirmed conversions accurately
  • maintain privacy-conscious tracking practices
